Two of the oldest Universities of Russia and Greece negotiated about the mutual cooperation, change of students, preparing and realization of common scientific projects and publications.
On behalf of the Rostov State University a Memorandum was signed by Rector, Doctor of Economics, Professor Adam Albekov, on behalf of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki Vice-Rector for Economics and Finance Professor Nikolaos Varsakelis.
— Thessaloniki University — is the twenty-first University, with whom Rostov State Economic University signed a similar memorandum — Adam Albekov said. — Today we have laid the foundation for future work, and I am sure, that the signing of the Memorandum will lead to a number of joint projects, including scientific research.
Nikolaos Varsakelis in his response called the signing of the Memorandum a strategic decision made by the university, which he represents.
— It is an honor and a pleasure for us to become related with such well-known University of Russia — he said — Ahead we waiting for: holding of joint scientific conferences, joint participation in large European programs.
Today was laid the beginning of activities that will strengthen and enhance the relationship between us. The result would certainly be excellent.
